One platform. Dedicated editions for the industries we know best.
Some industries need more than an edition: their own name, their own sales book and their own comparison against the incumbent. 613OS is live for Jewish institutions. LiceHQ serves lice-removal clinics. More are on the way.
The operating system for Jewish institutions
Schools and yeshivas, early childhood and after-school programs, day and sleepaway camps, shuls, nonprofits and wedding halls.
613OS runs tuition, dues, donations, registration and communication. The institution's vocabulary is built in: families instead of contacts, tuition plans instead of subscriptions, a parent portal instead of a client portal. Underneath is the full Merch FinTech platform and the same payment rails.
The positioning is simple: tuition management where the school pays nothing for the software while it processes with us. Incumbent systems charge the school a license and families a percentage on every payment. On 613OS, Basic is $99/mo, credited back on the processing statement with 613OS Payments. Families pay a small flat fee per bank payment instead of a percentage and no annual per-family fee; the school decides whether the flat bank-payment fee is paid by the family or absorbed.
- Tuition plans, enrollment, rosters and a parent portal
- Dues, seats, honors and donation campaigns for shuls
- Camp registration, sessions, standby lists and camper accounts
- Event contracts, deposits and final billing for halls
- Qualified 501(c)(3) organizations can be boarded at charity interchange rates, confirmed at underwriting
Clinic software that sends you the patients
Booking, intake, screening records, card on file and retail for lice-removal clinics, built by people who ran one.
Same-day booking, family appointments, follow-up checks and the review request after a clean recheck are set up on day one. The receptionist answers the 9pm "can you see us tomorrow" text and books it.
Alongside the software sits aboutlice.org, a parent directory with treatment guides and a clinic finder. Parents find a clinic and book; the lead lands in that clinic's LiceHQ account.
Plans are $99 and $249 a month. Clinics that want parents reimbursed can add the insurance-reimbursement setup, a one-time $2,500 service that configures out-of-network claims and the paperwork families need.
- Same-day and family bookings with intake forms
- Card on file, deposits and retail at checkout
- Recheck reminders and review requests
- Leads from the aboutlice.org directory
- Insurance-reimbursement setup add-on, $2,500 one-time
Where we build next
Each new brand reuses the platform, the rails and the plan ladder. What changes is the vocabulary, the ledger and the sales book.
How we pick a vertical
Five questions, scored before we build anything. A vertical has to pass most of them.
- Recurring money flow. Tuition, dues, memberships, deposits, not one-off sales.
- A fee we can remove. The incumbent charges families or members on every payment.
- Community concentration. One good reference sells the next ten.
- A founder or partner with a network. Someone who already knows the people who run these businesses.
- It fits the platform. The workflow runs on the platform plus our ledger, without a bespoke app.
