FAQ
Questions about what we accept
Do you accept American Express?
Yes. American Express runs on the same terminal and the same online checkout as Visa, Mastercard and Discover, with no separate account to apply for. It is priced on your statement like every other card, and you can see it there.
Do you support Apple Pay and Google Pay?
Yes. In person, a customer taps a phone or watch on any contactless terminal we ship. Online, Apple Pay and Google Pay appear in hosted checkout and on pay links. Wallet payments are tokenized and settle like a card payment, in the same batch.
Can I take payments over the phone?
Yes. Key the card into the virtual terminal from any browser, or text the customer a pay link so they enter the card themselves. Keyed payments run as card-not-present, so address and security-code checks happen automatically and the receipt goes out by text or email.
What about international cards?
Foreign-issued Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are accepted, and JCB and UnionPay come through the Discover network. The card networks' cross-border fees apply to those payments and appear as their own line items on your statement, so nothing is hidden in a blended rate.
Do you do payroll?
Yes. Payroll runs through our payroll partner, on the same login as your payments: W-2 staff and 1099 contractors paid by direct deposit, taxes filed, forms issued. Vendors and contractors can also be paid by ACH credit from the dashboard. See the payroll page.
Every way they pay, on one platform.
Tell us how your customers pay and how you pay out. We set up every rail you need on one merchant account in your own name.
